You guys are the hope of the future of SC. Clean governance is what you advocate it is the only hope for a community responsive management
Thank you for your herculean effort against all BOD-stacked odds. Keep it up. Not soon but eventually we'll regain control if you and the community do not give up

The challenge is that too many see the Advocates as "hating" Sun City. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's easy to paint those who speak out with that brush simply because it's far more difficult to have an open and honest discussion about why we/members are openly critical.

We got to where we are because the membership didn't speak out. Because the general manager did what she wanted/thought was the right direction for the community. Only a fool thinks they have all the answers. That's why our history matters, it taught us a community built by the community, for the community was far better than one person doing it all.

If you doubt that, here's the question for you: Why should outsiders get preferential treatment on our golf courses over the membership who bought and paid for them? Here's another: How in the hell did we get 15 years behind on our technology? And another: Why can't we address the security and safety concerns of the membership across the community?

Questions like these are embarrassing and they are incapable to explain how and why. Far easier to just scream, "haters."

All 3 great questions. Maybe the members will eventually get answers but not from this BOD. Keep up the good work in the advocacy group providing information and clarity to the members. Thanks.

Thanks for your comments Marco. Someone in this group came up with "Communicate Educate Participate" When I get overwhelmed with so many things wrong I just ask myself if I'm doing at least one of those things, and does that one thing benefit my wonderful neighbors here. Imagine the possibilities if all 35,000 of us did that :)
